Patrick McClair — Piano
Patrick is an accomplished pianist with years of experience performing across Scotland and the UK. Having trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, he brings refined musicality and natural versatility to every performance. His background spans solo piano work, session collaborations, and performances with some of Scotland’s leading wedding and function bands.
With musical influences ranging from funk, soul and rock legends like Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Nicks to modern artists such as John Mayer and Matt Johnson, Patrick’s playing blends groove, emotion, and sophistication. Balancing his full-time career as a pharmacist with a lifelong passion for music, he brings both professionalism and heart to every stage — forming the foundation of Ivory & Gold’s timeless yet modern sound.
Courtney Gold — Vocals
Courtney is a versatile and esteemed vocalist with extensive experience performing across Scotland’s live music scene. With a background spanning session work, leading wedding and function bands, and musical theatre, she brings exceptional range and artistry to every performance.
A Musical Theatre graduate, Courtney’s voice is both powerful and expressive — able to soar with soulful energy or soften beautifully for more delicate moments. Influenced by neo-soul and powerhouse artists such as Olivia Dean, Aretha Franklin, and Jennifer Hudson, as well as a host of contemporary performers, she blends classic soul with a modern edge. Her emotional delivery and effortless control lie at the heart of Ivory & Gold’s signature sound.
